Mortlach Sheep Pasture Adventure of December 10, 2017 is seeking a Pasture Manager for the 2018 Sheep and Cattle grazing season. The season will be open from May 1, 2018 – October 15, 2018.  Proposed wages are $4200 per month, which is to include work truck and fuel.  ATV supplied by applicant.  The pasture would prefer the applicant supply their own housing, power and water supplied by pasture. Along with the responsibilities of the health and welfare of the grazing livestock; working with and caring for the guard dogs will be required.  General maintenance is also required, example:  make sure gates are working properly and fence repairs. Some work may require heavy lifting.  Assistance for all areas in the pastures operation is available upon request.  Daily logs of all activities and a grazing report are required.  Log book for all activities will be provided.  Please call or text Greg McKelvey at 306-513-8059 for more information.  Deadline for application is March 31, 2018.
